Right then.... sorry for the delay, I needed some time to think about the colour scheme, which although underway now, may change further along
Im back to using acrylics again, Mig Ammo and it’s spraying nicely.

Here is what happened today :nerd:.
Model was base painted with dark grey and overspray was done with dark yellow....

Morn Mr. Benson,

Sorry I missed this great build of yours. I guess that's why they call them "Blitz" kits cause you build them so fast, huh??? Excellent work as usual Si and love your choice of camo too!!! Russian front all the way Buddy......Heading towards Kursk are we???

Prost

Morning Mr D,
Was certainly a lightning quick build mate! Glad you like the camo, Scoured ump-teen references to find something different and this scheme caught my eye :smiling4:

Very nice Si, of course a mere relaxing build for you esp remembering photos of your work bench !

Cheers guys, stuck my neck out with the scheme as I wasn’t sure how I could weather it.

I let the paint dry thoroughly for a few days and then it was given a good coat of varnish.
Then this morning I painted up the tools and gave it a pin wash...

I did the wheels, idlers and drive sprockets too, but forgot to take pictures :upside:
Need to piece together the turret armour next and get it painted up.

Ms are my favorite of the IIIs. Well done. PaulE

Si,
Put that under a tree on a nice warm summers day and you would think it was real, well done.
Mike.

Cheers Guys,
Great to have your approval on the unusual scheme :thumb2:

Made some progress over the last few days and got the schürzen painted and the running gear all stuck into place.

Ill give the new paint time to dry then I’ll weather the whole thing.

Si

Firstly love the way it has turned out, coming on very nicely.

Secondly, I'm trying to send you a PM but it won't let me. Assume it's a permission/privacy setting on your profile.

Can you send me a message so I can reply to it, as I have something I'd like to share with you?

All the best

Andrew
