I watched this guys review a few months ago and nearly died of total boredom :sleeping: :smiling5:I don't know if this would be considered "spoilers", but panzermeister36 did a post build-review of the kit here, which may be useful:
Hiya Si. I'll be following this build. Like you i am not starting straight away. I have my 109 and P-38 to finish too
Fingers crossed it goes together as well as their T60 I built recently. I know Bob the StuG built one so I’ll quiz him if I get stuckMorning Si,
Looks typical Miniart - lots of tiny bits but very complete looking. Not much need for aftermarket parts with their kits
I’d forgotten this GB was due to start - I’ve not managed to finish anything yet from all the other ones :smiling4:

Hi Si, first one ready:thumb2:. Not home so will post my effort later
I found the suspension a bit of a pain with many small parts on large sprue gates. So be careful cutting and sanding!! Otherwise a good kit but fiddly
Bob
I spotted the track jig.....are they workable then? The tracks are ok and come with a jig and pins on a tab, i made them in one go. Do not almost lost the plot lol
We have a saying ”the devil makes work for idle hands”. I’m gonna be a saint by the time this is done:smiling5:Many parts to keep you busy Si, good luck with the tracks and neat looking 109 :thumb2: .

Interesting! Would hope for a good picture description of that part of the build process, as I am not good with that. Couldn't even keep the Dragon 6102 Sd.Kfz. 250/7 "Stummel" tracks workable!they are but be careful with the glue!!

Good to have you along Andy.....I was tempted with the Tamiya one myself you know, but this was so cheap it was a no brainier :nerd:I almost went for this kit but settled on the "safer" Tamiya. Will be watching how it goes though Si.
You place about 5 tracks in the jig, the track pins are on a sprue, so you gently insert the pins in the tracks in the jigs, cut off the pins and a touch of glue on the pin. Fiddly and time confusing!!Interesting! Would hope for a good picture description of that part of the build process, as I am not good with that.
