Steve, I did think about... I've never heard of Highway Miniatures! What price would I try for?!Sell! Unless you want some unusual shelf decoration!

Definitely worth a thought!Found this shop on ebay:

If that's representative of the prices you should certainly look at selling rather than giving away or binning! :anguished:
Tim, I'll have to check as they're sealed boxes! Not a manufacturer I’ve come across either. Are they all white metal Lee?
Interesting read.Just looked them up. Looks like the range owner (Jordan Highway) instructed his heirs not to sell the range on when he died in 2015 Lee. They may therefore be eminently collectible, especially if you have any rarities there.
More info on the range here….

Thats right mate, just checked 3 kits, wheel works is white metal the other 2 are plastic! That’ll be the wheel works one then, says it on the frontAnother site I found seems to think they were highly regarded with detailed mouldings. They look plastic according to that eBay listing.
Absolutely no idea Lee LOL. Try someone like Kingkit and see if they’ve got one for sale. Remember, the price on buy it now might not be what it actually goes for. 1/87 (HO) is a rarer scale in the UK as well, most railway stuff is OO, not HO.Thats right mate, just checked 3 kits, wheel works is white metal the other 2 are plastic!
Would that still go for £25???
Good point about scale, see how that one goes!Absolutely no idea Lee LOL. Try someone like Kingkit and see if they’ve got one for sale. Remember, the price on buy it now might not be what it actually goes for. 1/87 (HO) is a rarer scale in the UK as well, most railway stuff is OO, not HO.
Dave that is literally what I'm doing mate... spooky! It's worth checking ebay sold listings - that will give you a better indication of what they're fetching rather than what people are asking for.
DO NOT OPEN THE BOX! Unless you want to diminish your returns exponentially!Definitely worth a thought!

Check the listings, add 25% on the average sale price, haggle - then accept slightly above the average sale price (grudgingly!)Steve, I did think about... I've never heard of Highway Miniatures! What price would I try for?!
