As there has been a lot of new members, I thought I would use a few moments on a recommended tour.

A few basic things first. We are all a right nosy bunch so we would all like to know where in the world you are. There is a place you can enter your location in your profile. Use a couple of seconds and file in the location. You might find that there are other members just up the road!!

Also while there you might like to consider adding you first name. That way we dont have to keep looking up your name in your opening post! lol There are times I can hardly remember my own so its a challenge trying to keep up, especially with so many new members.

Somewhere in all these posts in the Chit chat are a couple of posts that you will have a good laugh at.

One is a rouge gallery, where those that dare have posted a mug shot, so we can put a face to the name. likewise there is a Man cave thread where there are some brave soles that have posted a picture of their hobby corner. Every thing from a brick built shed, with heating and carpet to a tea tray on the lap.

And one last thing. Please take the time, if you have not done so already, to read the Stickies at the top of some of the forums- loads of good stuff in some of them and a few rules.

Well I won't bore you any more, and I hope that you all have a great time on the forum and I look forwards to seeing a load of builds from you.

I cant find the man cave thread...
James, also try 'Boy's and Girl's sheds'......In chit chat threads. But beware, if you do, you will have to post a picture of your mush!

Cheers,

Ron

Ian... couldn't we get like a google map thing put up as a sticky where everyone can stick a 'pin' in roughly where they live?

Glad to be of some help.

There are a couple of other threads along the same lines, but just like you, I can't remember what they are called either!

Happy days.
