First, my thanks to Steve (stona) for yet again suffering my messages about a particular aircraft's construction and his general thoughts about the ramming damage. He thought he'd heard the last of me after helping me with that Hurricane / Dornier coming together....No chance!
His knowledge of such things knows no bounds. Thanks again, Steve.
Based on Steve and I's recent musing on the subject, I've made a start on the fighter damage.....
The dissection begins.....
I made a start by hacksawing off the stbd. wing at the fuselage join.
I then bent and twisted the plastic with a pair of pliers. I've added a stump of the main spar and some snapped off cables.
...and we're off! (Pardon the pun!)
Cheers,
Ron
