Spots on the Internet (2021)

It seems that the Leopard 2 is going to be the subject of releases from different manufacturers
Would that explain the accusations Border Models made towards Takom and RFM?

A modern MBT with full interior, though … I don’t think I’ve seen (m)any of those.

On the Trumpeter/HobbyBoss Facebook page --- " surprise "

Now that looks like a hurried announcement ( in response to other makers? )

Trumpeter/HobbyBoss hinted at a Leo2 'rebirth' - now
On the Rye Fields Model Facebook page - two offerings, no further info

On the Border Models Facebook page a derivative of the Leopard 2 - no further info

The Rheinmetal Kodiak ARV, just entering service.................
Dave
OOh, I want one! No experience of Border Models though - anybody have a view on them?

German version, by the looks of it. Needs some different smoke grenade launchers and a MAG instead of the MG 3 :) Oh, and a sled:

On the Takom Facebook page - ' summer releases'

Takom haven't done any wingy things, so there's nothing to compare, but I guess won't be the cheapest!

Takom are really pulling out the stops on unusual models! look at the sizes, 466mm & 510mm - you'll need to think up a really good way of displaying these!
Dave

Display one of these alongside a contemporary battleship and you would get a real idea of how large they really were….

Just compare to the Sachsen-class frigate Dave mentioned a few messages up: that’s 408 mm long.

On the Trumpeter & HobbyBoss websites, their August releases

For those over a certain age - Revell have had the ex-Matchbox 1/76 AFVs in their catalogue for a long time - they are releasing two as 'A First Diorama Set' - with basic paints, glue & brush - just like a starter kit, in fact!

Puma & Firefly - are they the first of the whole range, or is it Revell testing the water?
Dave

Looks like they've changed the decals on the Puma, but everything else is exactly as my childhood memory recalls.

David
Already released - I have a set - and very good they are too!
