I did have to check the date, to make sure it wasn't April 1st but yes it was a project!
Dave

I think the function got confused a little in the translation, but a glider torpedo bomber? I would not have expected such a thing to exist :)

From MiniArt - new model coming soon
miniart yom kippur.jpg
Looks like this was modelled on a photo - the front figure looks like 'Arik' Sharon

I was about to ask: which well-known Israeli commander is the front one again? I couldn’t think of his name. I must say this set seems less than useful to me, unless you want to build a diorama with celebrating soldiers.

On the Zvezda Facebook page - boxart for their upcoming rerelease of 1/48 Yak-130 bomber variant
zvezda yak-130 bomber 1-48.jpgzvezda yak-130 bomber 1-48 02.png
Interesting - includes FOD screens & wheel chocks & crew - unusual to see in pesent day models.........
Dave

On the Zvezda Facebook page - boxart for their 1/35 M4A3 ( 76 ) - 'on sale soon'
zvezda m4a3 76 .jpg
It also says 'two turret and guns types included.'
Dave

Two turret types? I suppose they mean it comes with both types of loader’s hatch. The two guns probably means with and without muzzle brake.

On the Rye Field Model Facebook page - 'July releases'

It'll be interesting to see how much the 3-D printed tracks go for.....................

On the ICM Facebook page - 'August release'

The ICM G4 in 1/35 is one of their really nice staff cars ( ICM did it in 1/24 & 1/72 as well ). Just added a couple of sprues with the mgs, new boxart - Presto - New KIt!
Dave
Not only how much will they sell for Dave but this might be interesting to see how the fit. The only thing about these and plastic they don't have the weight of the Fruil to give a sag.

On the ICM Facebook page - build up of their British Bobby.......................................
icm bobby 1-16.jpg
I was thinking, when was the last time you actually saw a bobby like this? ( apart from outside No. 10 ). They're usually festooned with stab jacket, radio, Taser, Pepper Spray, handcuffs etc! - I can't remember the last time I saw one in a tall hat!

they still wear the tall hats in the City of London, but WITH the stab vest et al...

They stopped wearing the tall helmets because it cost too much taking the dents out panda car roofs........:confounded:

On the Trumpeter/HobbyBoss Facebook page - " surprise - Buffel ARV in 1/35 "

I gather there has been a lot of controversy over various makers releasing models of the Leopard 2, and it's variants at the same time - hints of bad faith & direct accusations of theft of data. I must admit it sounds odd, all these makers coming up with the same models - unless they all used the same market research firm!
Dave

As I recall, that question has been raised every so often over the last 30 years or more. I guess it’s partly a matter of different manufacturers reaching similar conclusions when asking their customers what they want, partly seeing what their competitors do and following them, and partly making the most of the moulds they have by releasing variants.

I wonder if the Hobby Boss version does include parts for the Dutch vehicle, though :)
