Haven't they,or someone else done these before?! ....From a mailshot from MiniArt - 'new kit coming soon'
Dave
I think 'Ghostbuilder' is very wrong - on a level (ie tarmac) it is easy to do - I have rolled 45 gallon drums frequently with one hand once started. The problem, of course, is on broken ground.Haven't they,or someone else done these before?! ....
.... I seem to remember "Ghostbuilder" pointing out to someone,( who used them in a Dio), on a previous site, that the guy rolling the barrel was all wrong.... It'd be far too heavy for him to move using one hand at a time, whilst not "putting your back into it". ?!!

Not crazy, but the timber bulks in your photo are substantially thicker than the ones in the kit.I actually have seen wartime photos of the krauts loading a JU 52 in this fashion, as crazy as it seems......it apparently works.View attachment 480910
Yes Tim , far to thin ,bend first then a loud crack and lots of swearing !Personally I still don’t think the lengths of wood would hold up the barrels. They would most likely snap in the middle as the barrels were moved up….
Arg your plane as well Rick ! Look like 8 X 3 in !I actually have seen wartime photos of the krauts loading a JU 52 in this fashion, as crazy as it seems......it apparently works.
…..and there’s three of ‘em….Arg your plane as well Rick ! Look like 8 X 3 in !
Will they ever run out of variants or upgrades of this particular vehicle?....I do believe there's a kit for every type ever built and then some! Small wonder why Mr. Bob switched to floaty things....who can keep up with all this?![]()
