Those figures are pretty much the same set that has been around for years.

Made about 3 years ago.

I've just looked through the 2024 MiniArt catalogue - a bit disappointing to be honest - the only model that is out of their normal range is a 1/48 Junkers F13 Inter War passenger plane - and they've still got those poor 1/16 historical figures in there!

On the Kinetic Model Facebook page - a new release

I don't report Kinetic models - it's just a stream of F-16s! I counted no less than 30 boxings on Scalemates! They do make other models, but they're swamped by the F-16

For next year from MiniArt:

Two early production M3 light tanks, one with interior and one without. If these are up to the standards of their M3 medium, every other M3 light tank kit will be obsolete at a stroke :smiling3:
Or are they from the same moulds as the Academy Stuart... But just been cleaned up..

True Dave, but as it says on the box A/B, then will it have the parts for the single seat A and parts for the two seat B version... Because according to my reference(s) and my time hanging over the fence at Alconbury for the Hahn and Spangdahlen F-16 visitors the A = Single and the B = 2 seat.

Oh yes.............Kinetic are really getting the most out of their moulds!

Been running for a few weeks , II have about 12 Fireball xl5 on my dvr.

I certainly hope not :) MiniArt doesn’t have a record of reboxing other people’s kits, though, so for now I’m assuming (and most certainly hoping) they’re completely new kits.

Just saw this book advertised, think a lot of it was printed in the Old MM magazine some years ago .

You're right - there was quite a number of articles, his work is really good. If the book is as good as the articles it will be a great reference and 'how-to' book.

Hi Peter, I've just read and watched a U Tube Video from Mitch Toy company

.

Where they show the book page by page. Seems to be a tie up with Vallejo paints. Not seen any of the photos/drawings before, they haven't been shown in the old MM before.

They went on to say it was the first volume of the Masterclass Scenic Atmosphere series, in which the author Emmanuel Nouaillier shows his personal way of approaching and putting his work into practice.

At over £40 many may be put off. If you use his old methods of working I don't think there will be much difference in the book. It will be interesting to see what the other books will contain.
