Question - why not call it 'Opel Blitz'? - it says it on the radiator!
The Opel nas been done by Dragon, Tamiya, ICM & Italeri ( & other reboxings ) - doesn't really follow the MiniArt motto of 'Innovation is Everything'!

I have, though I don’t know too much about it. It’s basically one of those “protected” vehicles that western armies all scrambled to get once they became involved in the war in Afghanistan.
No doubt modular. One frame fits all!!

Be interesting to see how ICM deal with the wheels, wire spoked and all - their spiel on the bottom of the box is always slightly odd - " beautifully decorating the interior of the office or writing desk "

Hmm - are they going to have new boxings for every country that used the P-47?

I never understood why the sword has lasted so long as part of military uniforms - even if it is just ceremonial these days.

Perhaps it's because it represents traditional power in the ultimate expression of archaic hand-held weaponry, military prowess at arms, designation of office and a phallic (penetrative) component (and because it's bright and shiny and looks good against No 1 Dress uniform .... and the ladies are fascinated by it )

Since you’re asking this in response to a set of Japanese figures: because in Japan, swords were (and are) regarded as far more than just weapons. That’s true to a certain extent in Europe as well, but it was far more so in Japan, where a sword wasn’t just a symbol of the nobility (as in Europe) but was held to embody all kinds of spiritual things related to the whole concept of nobility and warrior-ness in ways that go far beyond similar beliefs held in Europe.

250, get ready for 'GRIEF' Rommels mount.
Merkava IV - and still missing the non-slip coating, and I would hate that roof mounted slat armour to give way...
Takom Tiger - nuff said....
