Greetings One and All From the Fatherland,

Today was the annual show at the privately run museum in Stammheim Germany. It is located about in the middle of nowhere in a small village. It is a totally amazing place with outdoor displays and halls containing some fantastic things. Out on the back 40 there are rides on vehicles and tanks every half hour. The museum is open all the time, but the model show comes only once a year. I have never heard of this place until 2 months ago and it is only 60 kms away from the house. I will post some pics first from the models and then from the museum after that. I apologise in advance for some blurry pictures and for not breaking them down by scale. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did the whole day long!!!...
The first pic is a warning if you touch the 'stuff'

The Jagdpanther below had LEDs to highlight the interior. you can see the yellow light in the forward open hatch. Too small for pics of the inside!

Dude 1
Great models some very high standards , esp like the early jet in the trees. Is there a club in the area that they all belong to ?
Dude 2
Get on with the V2 now please .:tongue-out3:
I'm sure that's Steve Jones behind that hedge !

Hi Allen
Sure had attracted some skilled modellers. Lots of superb stuff. Bet you had a great day.
Thanks for sharing.

And some excellent modelling on show. Haven’t been to a model show in years...must keep an eye out for something local
Thanks again buddy

Wow!!! There some amazing builds there.
Thanks for sharing :surprised:

Thanks for sharing the pictures Allen, some nice dios there and amazing builds. I like the Doodle Bug launch pad.

Cheer,
Richard

Hi Allen
Just had another look on my big screen monitor. Many of those dios are stunning. So well conceived and executed. The tank under the haystack - not seen that before.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for the thanks for the pics! More than happy to post them because there were so many fine builds. I don't know how many different clubs took part, but there were enough. There were also a lot of dealers there too. I did pick up a few things needed and really didn't spend that much cash this time. I will post my small haul later. Jim & Richard, the dios were fantastic! The doodle bug and haystack were great ideas and so well done! I'm not sure who made the launch ramp with prep cart. I have asked Didier from Azimut to bring his kit of the start ramp with prep cart to the SMC in Holland for me. I only hope he gets the molds fixed in time and can cast one set...

Si - There was a club from Mid Sussex there (and not from New Jersey) They also have a sister group in France. Is Mid Sussex anywhere near you in West Sussex??? Maybe you could contact them to see if they do a show around there somewhere. Food for thought….....

Morning Allen,

I just checked it out and the mid Sussex Ipms isn’t too far at all...just a 30 min drive (about 17miles) I’ll contact them and see if there are any shows locally.
Really appreciate your thoughtfulness mate:thumb2:
