Great figures John. Can I please ask what you use to paint the flesh? I'm still desperately trying to find a solution to this problem.

Thanks

its a old figure before i had the airbrush so i would have painted it with tamiya xf15 i go with a few thinned down coats so you keep the detail..then a wash of any brown oils leave and then highlights..there are people on here who could help you better but i hope this helps

I have posted a question about this but I din't really undertsand the replies I received so I'm still wondering.

I've got X15 but it appears flat when it dries. I'll try a wash of something or other.

i could try and tell you but if you go to youtube it shows you how it all works...better then i can explain it..but as you can see it works a treat

If I can I will see if I can get a video of this as I know the chap who developed it I beleive as he goes to our club :-)No promises but will try!

I heard that sprinkling your static grass on the glue then using a balloon that has been rubbed on a head of hair makes the static grass stand on end...a balloon is pretty cheap right =p

There is also ways to make your own static wand, a google search should provide.

This month's issue of Model Rail magazine features a super test of static grass products and a how-to guide. Issue number 179.
