Thanks Paul. You should be pleased that's a great result.
Thanks John.Liking that, mate - very nice...
Thanks Peter. Great story about Jenson. Like you I was very apprehensive about the gloss finish but it turned out fine. The thing I disliked most were the number of wrap around carbon decals that went around all the suspension struts. They began to look untidy and I abandoned most of them and just replaced with a silky matt black. The decal sheet for this car was extensive.Hi steve
great looking model. Nice finish. i have a couple of F1 cars in the stash but so dar too cowardly to try to get the high gloss finish.
if you are a Jenson fan you may like this anechdote from when Jenson lived here in Guernsey. A friend of mine was out in his small boat doing a bit of mackerel fishing mid way in a local bay, about 300 yards off the coast and between two headlands. Nice and quiet until the quiet was broken by the sound of someone swimming to his boat. Asking if he could rest for a minute or two, quick chat and then off. It was Jenson on one of his lengthy training swims. i don't know if Marc caught any fish but he had a nice anechdote!
