Hi all heres the Zvezda kit of the Sukhoi SU 47 Berkut as has just entered operational service in the 'shark'camo. Well not really -there was only ever one prototype built to test the viability of forward swept wings and that one was black all over , this is just my What if? of what it might have looked like had it been developed into a strike fighter/bomber and given the shark camo seen on some of the newest T50 development aircraft. This kit was very kindly given to me by my good mate Dave (Gern) and its one of Zvezdas earliest efforts. As such its very basic but perfect for a bit of Whiffery! I altered the engines to depict thrust vectoring nozzles and deleted the long nose probe but apart from that its OOB as far as the build goes , the decals all coming from my spares box -mainly the excellent Begemot modern vvs sheets. heres the pics including one of what looks like the Russians latest helmet mounted sighting system on the kit pilot!!View attachment 288450 View attachment 288451 View attachment 288452 View attachment 288453 View attachment 288455 View attachment 288456 View attachment 288457 View attachment 288458 View attachment 288459 View attachment 288460 View attachment 288461 View attachment 288462 View attachment 288463

Wow! Firefox for the real world. Nice work as always Tony.

Have fun, John

Nice build. But that pilot, I think you could be mistaken. I think it's a top secret listening device.

Great work Tony. Who's to know if it's in service or not? ;) And yes, that pilot's helmet configuration is ... different.

Brilliant! Like it a lot!

I see Zvezda went with vectored thrust unlike HobbyBoss

Miko (alternate histories are more interesting than reality)
