As you know I'm a wood modelling newbie and I just bit the bullet and bought a small table saw.
I decided I was to old to keep cutting MDF board with a Stanley knife .

Yes I am being very careful and safety conscious, but it is making things so much easier for me.
Also, I may move up to models larger then 1:43 scale or even a dolls house.

Bespoke models for grandchildren may soon be available .

I've always lusted after the Proxxon gear for model making stuff/tools, but its not cheap...

OK, but don't judge me .
There are a lot to choose from and some have added extras , but I decided just to get a basic
no frills model.

Looks a useful bit of kit if you’re doing a lot of woodworking.
Not too bad a price either when you consider the cost of some of the things we get for plastic modelling
