discussion Tamiya Dak Kuble And Standard Kuble Wheels Question

I have the tamiya German Kublewagon maintenance set and I have the DAK Kublewagon what I want to know is can the wheels on this and the standard be switched?


This is a nice set that I want to start and know I have to get the standard kuble for the set but while I'm waiting for that to arrive I wondered if I can just swap the wheels then I can start it and just swap the wheels when the other kit arrives


Any help is appreciated

I cannot see why not, from what I can see there isn't any difference between the two version's,


other than the wheels.


Failing that why not just start it until you get the standard Kublewagen.

The wheels on the DAK are slightly bigger which may not make any difference so I think I'll wait for the kuble to come and start it then


I'll do my sas dio instead I've got the stuff for that

tamiya do/did do a dak kuble which has 'balloon' tyres so that might be why the tyres look fatter

Yeah Paul that's the one I've got but I need the standard one fo the dio , it's basically the same kit with just a few differences

The wheels can absolutely be swapped out, you could even use schwimmwagen wheels.
