Good morning all.

I finished the figures last night, in retrospect I think I should have used a lighter wash.



Overall I'm happy with my attempt, I think they should look OK sitting in the Achilles.

I personally think they look very good, but if you wanted to dampen it down, a very thinned base colour should do it without removing the effect completely.

I think you have done a fantastic job on the crew. The faces have a nice ruddy complexion. Jack may be right about a lighter wash, but in my old eyes, they will make a perfect crew for the M10 just the way they are...

I will probably leave them, I don't want to tempt fate and balls them up at this stage. Besides once in the turret they will mostly be hidden.

Mike, they have been matt coated, I think the shine is because I took the pics last night with lights directly on the figures.

I think they look great Bob- the trouble with posting photos is that sometimes you can obsess over details due to the ability to see everything in close-up. I generally hold them a coupLe of feet away, and if they look ok, I call them good :thumb2:

Morning guys, I hope everyone is well and staying sane during the lockdown.

I started the weathering yesterday. The box art shows heaving chipping along the sharp edges. I'm not sure how true to life this is but I like the look so have followed suit. This was then followed up with some dot filtering on the vertical panels to give a subtle streaking effect. I will follow up with some more localised and pronounced dirt, rain and rust streaks when the current gloss coat has fully cured.
