I use all three frequently Steve. Primarily I use them for canopy work, either polishing after removing seam lines or scratches, or a final buff after removing masking. I used it on my Lancaster to polish the wings. Work from Coarse through Fine, to Finishing. It will work on a varnished surface, just ensure the varnish has cured hard before you apply the compound. It will also work on painted surfaces, if the paint is durable enough. There is no need to rub hard.
Thanks Joe. I am struggling to get a decent finish on my gloss paint work on the "Blackjack" No matter how many coats of varnish I apply it still looks gritty in places under false light. This will be the first time I have used this product so just a bit nervous.
