well, this has been a long time coming but I have fully completed my first model in, possibly, two years. It has been a pleasure to get back into the hobby and this simple Tamiya kit from 1975 has been just what I needed, a completion.

Couple of simple pics to show final weathering but can I just say a huge thank you to you guys for your support in returning to this forum and the hobby after far too long. Without you, I would never have pushed on to get this first milestone out the way.

Bring on the next

Hurrah to you Graham,it's always great to complete a kit.

And what a fine job you have done with this.

The weathering of the lower half blending towards the top half is excellent and you should be proud of this.

I think that looks excellent Graham. A very natural effect on the weathering which is subtle yet very effective.

Looking forward to the next instalment in your 251 series

Thanks guys. Not sure what to start next, another 251 or something different. Tempted to keep it simple and go with the Tamiya Churchill Crocodile with some photo etch to up the game a bit. Either that or the Zvezda BT-7 Soviet light tank with loads of photo etch lol.

Great work Graham and to say you had problems with the painting it's turned out very nice indeed. ( I think I may start having painting problems if it turns out this good ).

I'm also looking forward to your next build.

Well done Graham a super looking build. I have one of these on my bench to build next. I will be more than pleased if I acheive a similar result.

Thank you all so much for your positive comments. Had it not been for your support on this I would have binned it yesterday when the painting went wrong. Pleased I persevered with it.

And what a return. It looks great. I'm strangely attracted to the wheels.

Many thanks. Is there a name for such a fixation Colin? Do have a local WA (Wheels Anonimas)? ;)
