Well done done John with those figures. Eyes - I've given up on them so you should be very happy with those. Sorry about your airbrush woes. They are rather awkward little beasts at times but I'll bet it is something simple - it's finding out what that is difficult.

Getting there John nice progress
Thanks lee, waiting for the paint to dry is the worst part .
Great looking figures John.

Andy.
Thanks Andy . Determined to be able to do figures .
Coming along very nicely John. Nice work with the figures.
Many thanks Ian .

Cheers Jim . I'm better at the left eye ( looking at it ) have to turn the figure upside down to do the other ! Also remembering to apply fresh paint to the brush and remove any surpluses before applying . Think at last I have sorted the ab problems :surprised:

great work , John- congrats on the eyes!
Thanks Neil ,been a long time coming , but having a really small Devinci Brush has helped enormously.

To day the Ultra replacement needle set arrived along with a inner seal replacement . Tomorrow along with carrying on with the figures a play with the refurbished ab .

Having play with it this morning and set it up all seems to be prefect. Have just cleaned and put back in its cradle. Spays better than the Neo .

Haven given the figures a miss to day I've continued with the Wespe itself.
Two night ago in tried some VMS sealer from the dropped bottle on the lower sides. Sieved some soil and sand and fixed in place. Still need to paint this up in various colours of brown /buff/ white to show debri .
Thinking next would be a little surface weathering before the continuation of the camo .This morning I fixed the kit, why on earth i'd left it off but the TET doesn't like any paint so had to remove paint from the fixing hole and pins.Think I thought painting them would be easier on the sprue.
I have sprayed the insides of the side shields and gun itself with a coat of gloss. once the weathering has been done internally on these a coat of matt will be done. Then decals and the fixing of the sides and rear sections followed by the camo.
Still loads to do, but remembering the correct sequence is the trouble when your enjoying your self.

You can see the derbri on the lower section, think this will blend in with the paints and maybe a little made up wall filler.

I was pleased with the radio set, very hard for me to be able to paint as its so small, with out the Optovisor Id be lost.
Will be strange doing pin washes etec on the internals and not the outer body.

Any tips on weathering would be appreciated.

Thanks for looking in.

John. ANY ONE SPOT MR BLACKBIRD FEEDING IN THE PHOTO?

Glad your AB is working. Fine work on the Wespe. We've also had a good bit of snow.
Mr Blackbird under the table ;)

Really coming together now Mr Race :smiling4:

looks chilly out….we had a flurry of the white stuff down here when I left for work yesterday but it wasn’t much and didn’t settle

I spy Mr. Blackie JR, but isn't it a bit unusual for you folks to be getting snow in March? Nice progress on the Wespe......love the floor sweepings and kitty litter under the mud guards. A tip from 570 no doubt. Ain't seen him around lately, is he and the current Mrs. Ron on walkabout again?

Hi Rick, well it's Mid Lent Fair Week soon ,and as Stamfordians aways say " Fair Week anything can happen " It's strange but it's not the first time we've had snow this time of the year and missed it earlier on !

Heavens knows where 570 and his bride are , like you I've not heard from him .

We've been "blessed" with a touch more than that John. I measured 14" in places!

Roads impassable, public transport ground to a halt but since I can't get to work I've dug out an essential path :smiling5:
