My first go at a bike. I'm fairly happy with how it went and I've learned loads about how I'd do the next one differently. 20250307_133121.jpg 20250307_133110.jpg

Thanks, I think I like the look of the Tamiya Kawasaki ZX-RR. Anything to get a bit more practice really.

Thanks Paul. There's loads of mistakes, but it looks ok from a distance!

I'm happy with the way the carbon fibre decals brightened up things like the rear mud guard and heat shield. I'll be using that stuff again.

Not so happy with my attempt at heat treating the exhaust. But I have an idea how I'll try to get that right next time. 20250303_101349.jpg 20250303_101338.jpg

Another thing I want to try and improve is the Brembo lettering on the brake calipers. I've been doing some trial and error along with getting some good advice on here.

That's really nice, I don't recognise the scheme at all..

I had a go at some forced perspective. It's nearly there. 20250309_114124.jpg

Cheers Peter, and thanks for your advice on the calipers

Thanks Nick, it's the 2004 MotoGP livery, the Spain's No1 replaced the tobacco advertising when it was banned

Top marks from me. You should be proud of that build.

Thanks Steve. I am proud of it. It's better than I thought I'd be able to do but the process has shown me so many things that I could do better with a bit more knowledge

Very nice George. Glad to see the calliper lettering went well for you.
