Hi all,
I have also decided to treat myself and go to telford this year(1st time) along with my grandson his dad and my 2 boys will prob go on the sat (as early as I can get them up),my question is can I buy tickets up front or only on the door it's a long drive from the rhondda only to be told....sry luv we are full.lol

thx

jeff.
I've gone to the last 5 shows and am not aware of anyone ever being turned away. Each time I've driven up from Southend and got there around 9 am.I used to be a member of IPMS.But the only advantage for me was I could get into the show at 9am.The rest of the public aren't allowed in till 10.So now I'm no longer a member I leave at 7am instead of 6am (it's a 3 hour 180 mile drive for me).

Thx m8,yeah it is a bit of a trek for me also,i worked in telford for a while those early monday starts used to wash me out,lol

Telford gets very busy, but I doubt if it ever gets so full that you'd be turned away

I used to live in Cumbria and the method I used to get to Telford was to leave about midnight and drive overnight, then park at the exhibition centre and have a doze in the car. You'll probably find a few others doing the same. Take food & drink

The snack bars in the hall sell bacon butties & coffee first thing

The show layout has just been released, my club A.S.V.C Wombourne in is hall C, this is great news as its also the main entrance this year :)

Hope to see you there on at least one of the days :)

Looks like Sunday seems to be the favourite day so that's when I'm going (assuming my new granddaughter arrives on time with no problems - she's due on the 5th).

Long standing tradition at Cosford is that we all do our own thing 'til about 12:00 then meet up for a bite to eat and a catch up on the gossip for a couple of hours. Then we wander off to catch the last minute bargains etc. If that sounds OK, how about someone arranging a meeting place? No good leaving it to me! When I set up the first meeting at Cosford I'd got us all meeting alongside the Vulcan OK - but about 25ft in the air!

I'm considering going to this, it's a little bit of a trek, but it will be my first ever show for scale models, and I'd love to see the show pieces, browse the stands, and my little boy will be wide eyed I'm sure.

Will there be disabled access and parking does anyone know?

There is usually an area set aside for disabled parking and the venue is disability friendly, with ramps and lifts dotted around.

Thanks Adrian, I was a bit confused, because the website says there is parking at £4 per day a short distance from the venue, and obviously need to gets as close as possible, the wheelchair and my back don't like too many kerbs!

Well no-one's come back with suggestions for meeting up, are we all just going to be doing our own thing?

I will see you guys there any spot ?

Hi chaps!
This weekend I have been thinking about it....

My intention is to go at this event, and this year lol

Of course I will search the best option for me to come... I want to visit a bite England, again, so I'm deciding if to travel with car or train.(plane is my last option...)

Has Telford and the proximitie a good train infrastructure?

Can you give me some advice.

I have no problem to sleep on other towns and travel to Telford in the morning.... :)

Well....seems I will see some of you there :D :D :D

Thanks for your help!
well Polux did you get sorted with some were to stay ?

Well for starters you've got Ironbridge, Bridge North and Shrewsbury all close by nice little towns for a visit. Not sure of hotels but may be worth a Google search of the area for a little B&B.
My options easy I live 18 mile away so I stay at this lovely little place I call home :)
