Lucky man……getting paid for your hobby!I'm reading Masters of the Air by Donald L Miller, about the USAAF eighth air force. It's being made into a TV series and my current job is making props for it YAY!!!
Can only second Alan's recommendation.Forgot to mention this one too;
Jagdgeschwader 301/302 "Wilde Sau", In the Defence of the Reich - Willi Reschke
Tim's post prompted me to look at my aviation book collection and found that at 293 books, it is larger than my kit stash. Many are reference publications which I use extensively when building a corresponding model. However, only half a dozen are unread.I think my unread books stash is bigger than my unbuilt kits stash.
I have a book called:Can only second Alan's recommendation.
I got it after he recommended it. Not a cheap book new but worth every penny especially given as it's written from the German perspective by a pilot who actually flew in the wartime Luftwaffe...... It set me on the path of buying a couple of 109 kits from JG 300 too.
ATB.
