The Organ-izer

Hi Jim.......these things always remind me of a circus calliope. I can only imagine the tunes they must have played for the "Kraut's". You have done a great job on this most unusual subject sir!

these things always remind me of a circus calliope.
Which, incidentally, was the nickname for this particular device :) It’s a T34 Calliope multiple-rocket launcher.

(TBH, I had never heard of a musical instrument by that name. Looking it up, I find it’s what I would simply call an “organ” and that the name is pronounced differently from how I thought it was.)

I'm going to write about the model.
Great build Jim. I always smile when I see one of these here Callyopees.

You always give a most distinctive and instantly recognizable style to your models.... :thumb2:

Top work!

Thanks Ron, I had some fun playing in the mud with this one, plus picking some micro foliage from the lawn.
Also used some HO railroad foam on ground work with assorted other tidbits.
Glad you like...Jim

Hi Jim
Another great model. As others have said you have a style all your own. I like the Cat and Mouse design. Home made decals? Based on an actual tank or just a great idea of your own?
Jim

Nice one Jim, as always... is that the Revell or Italeri kit?

Jim,
Another great build mate. I built one a few years back had great fun on the wiring lol.

Wow Jim,

That Adirondack Mountain air seems to pump up your mojo. The Sherm is a real beauty and most of all, the groundwork is a phenomenal piece of art. Looks so realistic!!!....

Great Sherman and base Jim:thumb2::thumb2:
Love the vegetation camo of the tank and having seen some footage of these in action the radio operator sure'll be inside before the firing startes:tongue-out3:

Jim.

Thanks Paul, the wiring was a bit tedious but something different.
