Not trying to tell you all how to suck eggs,but this is how I do em :thumb2:..
... Tease them around with a small cocktail stick

... and after wrapping it around,you might end up with this...

Not superb, but I'm rather pleased with the outcome. :smiling3:
Not sure that that you can see all of the other stuff that I've done there in those pics,but I can assure you, that this will be one of my best

...... So then,got some bits done since Monday, first off,I chopped off the other end of that single side plate I'm using, and,(as Jakko suggested),used some plastic card to fashion a replacement bit for tother end....


Then I plonked the upper hull onto the lower,and fitted side skirts...

There he is,and although not micrometer accurate,I think it stands up along side the original ones well enough:thinking:.
The more complete side here, just cut off the very last plate,and won't be fitted the track guard either.....


... and finally for now.... I wouldn't wanna be in a slit trench with this bearing down on me....

As you can see there's much fettling to do before,and during the camo going on... starting that in a mo actually :thumb2:,

Cheers Jim,the grilles are nice quality,(and less than a fiver, delivered,),I wasn't going to bother with them originally....but glad I did now :thumb2:.
