I saw recently that the lack of any vertical surfaces on the 'ship' is to deflect any radar beams harmlessly upwards and prevent them rebounding back to the transmitting source!

It looks and sounds like a load of bo***cks to me!

I'd have a go at a scratch build but I'd only need five bits of balsa and a marker pen ..... Not much of a challenge eh?
