I think you should take that resin you bought and take it back to the shop you bought it from together with some photos of all the things that it has destroyed!

Try the Vallejo one. Still water.

Hi Polux sorry to hear about another disaster with the water effect, it was looking very good. But i may have found your problem, the base was made from Polystrene if i'm not mistaken ,and the water effect you use seems to have a hot setting action just like plaster of paris. So this may melt the polystyrene as a consequence, so if you line the polystyrene with filler before you put the water effect on i'm sure it should stop it melting

You are in the right direction Ian.

That's the truely trouble. The little parts I leave to do the stone effects was 'killed' by the resin.

The others parts have no problems. My mistake! Don't remember the last time...

Only wish can copy the same soil and color, I was very pleased with they.

And if I try to rescue this diorama with my new project "Medieval Village"?

Maybe the scale isn't the same... I don't know yet...

But a Dragon fighting there could be nice..

I notice the scale on the medieval village is 1:120? ...

I like the idea of the dragon attacking/fighting the villagers, you could do so much with that.

for the villagers maybe you could get some model railway figures and adjust them, i think "TT scale" is still use over in europe and thats 1:120.... at a push you could use "N scale", these are 1:148 but shouldn't look too bad.

The dragons scale isn't important as they could be any size you can imagine.

It will be a long project but would be worth trying in my opinion.

You are right Colin, the scale is that one!! Thanks for the advice, will try to find some complements at this train scale, if not.....well...you know....scratch build!!!

The next fascicle I will have a figure, willl waiting for see the exact size.
