Thanks sir very true with these old Tamiya kits. Lovely to build but no real detail, so pe really does help!I'm enjoying the build. Tirpitz is a fine ship & you're doing it justice for sure. PE can be APITHA but there's no denying it is the only solution in many cases.
Hi Scottie, now next up is the mast, not good!Awww come on Bob your just showing off nowGreat work mate

Many thanks Ian, a battle i am slowly winning!! Photos done for some reason didn't work first timeI think you are doing a great job with the PE. I find it fiddly in 1/35 or 1/48 but at the 1/350 scale! Good on you sir.
Your last photo is AWAL I am afraid.
The photos do throw a fit still once in a while. Many thanks Ian, a battle i am slowly winning!! Photos done for some reason didn't work first time
YES HI Bob yes window shut an locked so i dont go mad over this p/e an jump out the window lolHi Chris
I have spent hrs and more hrs getting to this stage. I found a hr a day just about keeps me sane lol. Have made sure the window is locked lol

LOOKS very good BobFor some reason known only to me, I started the main cranes virtually straightaway, then put them incomplete to one side?? Nuts!
So the pe is not great but added some very fine thread to try to replicate some of the cables, not much room for a lot of cables, used resin and UV torch, not too bad. Set ok and unlike ca the resin didn't frazzle the thread, so will use from now on.
