Hi Chris, too kind sir but more people to go. Today's attempt is the catapult. Got the painting room ready, lots of cobwebs lol
YES MY HORNET has quite a few cobwebs too but now i think ive got these hangar sides sorted i can number them an then glue who would think there are 3 on one side an 4 on the other talk about makin it awkward flamein ole i love kit

So built the catapult, glad I kept the large pe bender, it was long. Will have to go on after painting the decks, now the decks
The one to the left is pe but is a metal deck on the ship, its loose, but the right one is also pe but represents wood decking. I am also using wood deck on the upper deck, so I have to be careful getting both the wood deck and the pe deck the same colour! Plus, do I brush or spray? Thankfully I have a spare pe deck and mr colour deck tan plus tamiya lp16 deck tan, so we'll see

Not much progress, Julie had a operation to replace kidney stents Thursday, so more important things to worry about. Thankfully successful!
Also i totally forgot I need to both clean and etch the pe prior to paint. Especially the large pe decks. so waiting for stuff. However made a start on the Very fire deck windlesses. So much better than the very basic kit ones. Got a good few to do.

I would try to give julie a hug, but she's fast asleep! Not that brave lol.
The wood deck kit does supply all the needed decks but I thought the practice would do me good. Painting will be a challenge so time for using masking fluid, its one big practice ship!
