Late 1970s Celica done in the japanese style where they like old cars with modern bits..... Bit like a restomod

Usual nice aoshima kit with usual aoshima quirks

Plastic is thin in places and easily damaged....theres bits with tiny contact areas for glue... ... Dont like the wheels, too small in my eyes but its how they do it for real.... Didnt have anything suitable to swop...... Also didnt like how it sat..... Too high...... It has working suspension but i dont think its heavy enough to sit low.... So i made some little shims for the front which lowered it...... Left the rear cos i quite like the tail up nose down stance

Hard to take pics and get clean shots...... So apologies...... I happened to play about with some reflective card..... Interesting 😆 😆

Nice job Paul. I wonder how much the real thing cost these days, if you can find one ?

Well funny enough, Mathewson have a 79 in the next auction and its one that got fettled for telly so we shall see at some piont
