We all disappear for a while, some longer than others. I am sure we are all well aware that not all peoples life's revolve around their hobbies.
I think its a good thing that people show concern when people are away for awhile but lets not start to send out APB's every time some one is away from their computer for a few days.
I am sure that people that 'vanish' once in a while are just doing something else.
Perhaps a personal message to the person in question would offer a better reply
