Just had call from hospital, that frightened me no end.

They called in a specialist to take a sample from her left wrist, they have found a nasty infection which needs a operation to clean it out. She's on the lists for tomorrow. Whether this is causing her problems standing, I will have to ask when I visit tomorrow.

Hope that goes well for her Bob. Better that they found it though. Once they know about it they can start appropriate treatment.
 
One of the strengths of this forum is that we all genuinely care for each other. As Ron said we are more like a family.
Wishing your mum well for tomorrow. I hope she's soon on the mend.

Thank you kind people

Mum finally had her op this morning, according to the staff went according to plan, phew. Next is a assessment by the physios as to why she cannot stand without being in pain

And it continues, went downstairs this morning to make a cuppa and feed the moggies. To my horror I found one of the moggies Mr nibs and died during the night. He hasn't been well but appeared to getting better. Horrible to find him.

I do not what I have done but it's really getting me down. Sorry to go on chaps

Glad your mum's op went well and I wish her a speedy recovery. So sorry to hear about the moggy. Someone up there is certainly giving you a kicking just lately.
