Hi guys this trumpeter kit is to 350 scale so is very small it was built over three days and was brush painted using lifecolor acrylics the water was done using the same paints then a coat of epoxy glue was applied prior to the white water being done with silicone sealer applied with a tooth pick

I used what materials I had next time I would get some clear silicone as well but overall I'm quite happy with the model

The fit of the parts was top notch as you would expect from trumpeter

Comments always welcome

Roger

Thanks papa I know it's not perfect but it's my first go at water and given I used what I had I'm quite happy with it want to do another now God this hobby is addictive lol

I like that a lot!...you can feel the sheer power of the boat....looks like it wants to bust right through the glass and hit the waves;) For your first go at water, I think you did a great job.

Cheers...Jim:)

Jim's got that spot on! It really looks great, and it might be a tiny model but it gives out a sense of power & purpose.

Cheers

Awesone! You can see the water swelling in front of the boat and with the power the ship hunkers down at the stern.

Really do like this and take my hat off to you for the skills involved ( I cannot do ships or water scenes )

Regards

Robert

Superb work Roger. I think your sea effect is very well done. It certainly looks like your Schnellboot is speeding along.

It's all been said but no matter how small this model is, it just oozes power and speed which is exactly the nature of the real thing. One to treasure.

Roger, you are now an official member of the 'Sticky Sea Club'....

That is one excellent piece of sea scape. Coupled with a great wee boat, this is one very nice model.

Well done that lad!
