Hello everyone.

Has anyone used the Vallejo pigments and are they any good? more affordable than Mig, so thinking maybe for a reason.

There's no difference I've found, except they're cheaper and you get more in the container :woohoo:

I have been playing with them a bit but having never used any form of pigments before I can not make any comparison. However I can say they are very fine and work well. The Colours are good and they give a good effect. I use them together with Vallejo's matte medium and a dash of retarder and they almost work like oil paints!!! Dusted on dry they give a nice dusty dirt look. Clump up well if dropped onto daubs of medium.

Only down side for me is only being able to buy them in sets of four colours. To get all the dirt and rust colours you need to buy at least three sets!

Good price and good products.

Thanks for the quick replies. I have ordered the oil and rust set and the set with snow in it. Never used pigments before but looking at some finished models on this site, seems to be a great tool. I think I will try and add snow to my 35t with it and see how I get on.

You don't need to buy them in sets I sell them individually, they don't have the same range as mig but have a better range than promodeller
