Winner of the poll was the giant which surprised me, so here goes.

I am a heli fan and an even bigger Nam fan and I'm considering focusing my model making on vietnam era.

I voted for the Sopwith Camel, but I will watch you build this instead. :D

I won't get going on this till Saturday as I've got to go all night fishing with mates tomorrow after work, i say fishing there is lots of cider and pasties packed.

Back to the heli.

I am hoping to have a go at spraying

this so hints and advice most welcome in how to tackle build order etc.

Dave

I shall follow if I may never built a helicopter but would like to, so will follow your build and shamelessly pinch all the tips a dio hints you get (insert evil laugh ).

Yeah I voted for this, love this helicopter, nearly as much as the Merlin. ;)

As i voted for this one so its flask, chair and popcorn at the ready i am here for the long run also it might inspire me to do my 1/48 one.

I made a start today the instructions show the rotor head being constructed first then added last but i can't understand having a large delicate piece built way before needed. so i have started the cockpit.

What is best to glue the windows in as liquid sometimes fogs the clear.

Nice start Dave. For the windows I use Gator grip or Micro Kristal Klear they are white in colour but dry clear.

Looking good Dave, I never realised how much filler you can go through untill I started building aircraft. Lol.
