Whenever there is a crisis, no matter what it is, there will always be folk scamming or robbing. It has been like this for 100's years and will always be, just try and be on your guard as best you can. Scum bags though.

YES SI you are right but these type of poeple how can they do this as i would never stoop to this
chris

Look at any reputable news source
Are there any reputable news sources? Most show terrible bias and/or are very selective with what they report. Certainly don't trust the BBC, ITV or Sky and as for newspapers!! :rolling:
Jim

I agree with David regarding fake news however, I also think that Christopher makes a valid point-even if this story persay is faked it only highlights that there are people out there that prey on the vulnerable and naive, be it regarding masks, savings or any other number of things. Even though these things happen all the time, a crisis either a pandemic or financial produces fear and the criminals or just unscrupulous people exploit these situations.

So, again be vigilant in dealing with cold callers, emails, letters etc. Look after yourselves and your family guys.

Chris,
NO NO NO - you're spreading fake news - a simple search on the net will show this as rubbish https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-...asks-in-order-to-commit-robbery-idUSKBN21L37U
Look at any reputable news source - this is how false rumours spread. Facebook & Twitter are not reputable
Dave
HI DAVE ok if you think its fake news up to you on that but its better to have people warned an wary than let a scam happen isnt it ? an im not on facebook as i dont like it how i herd this was i got the warning through our nextdoor neighbours scheme me an jen are in so lets all be wary

Sigh< This is the way rumours spread, gossip over the fence, bloke down the pub says: - At least attempt to see if there is any truth in the rumours, or, do you believe anything you are told? - a healthy dose of scepticism goes a long way, no matter what the source.
Obviously you can believe what you wish, but before passing it around, make an attempt to verify it
I'm not going to post, or comment on this subject any more, we each have our own way of looking at things, and we are obviously a long way apart..........
