Her in doors has promised me flying goggles & a Biggles book next christmas. Super stuff wot.

Richy C, that Ford GT looks awesome. Hope there are going to be some in the box and completed model photo's going on from that one!

Other than that I didn't get any models or vouchers :sad: however, I did get an airbrush to replace one that I killed a couple of months ago.

I've had to make do with ordering some for myself. Got a 1/72 MIL MI-24 Hind F on it's way to me to keep me going until I can gather all of my kits for the Vietnam SIG build.

I've had a saved search on eBay for months searching for this or the revell boxing of it and finally it popped up with a result - it was listed int eh states but the lister was happy to send to the UK and had it on a "Buy Now" offer as well... only cost about $25 plus postage! woot!

Well it is good to start a new hobby :woohoo: my son and his girl got me this baby it is sooooooooooooooo much fun being a big child tearing of christmas paper and seeing a model :smile1:.

Ok the Postman finally came good today, the Tamiya 88mm Flak Gun, North African Campaign, still to arrive Dragon fallschirmjager, Crete, perhaps a Desert scene with some figure conversion. I have already purcahsed a resin 1/35 Fallschirmjager in desert uniform.

I also managed to find a metal barrel for the 88 on evil bay. To come is the new Dragon 75mm ETO Sherman and the Italeri Sherman Recovery tank. I am thinking of doing a D-Day or a D-Day +2 with those, but early days and still in the planning stages in the head ..................................

So lots to do, just have to find the time to build :hmmm:

The Victoria Cross kits seem to be from older moulds, similar to the ones I built as a youngster, but the dogfight double look really nice, well moulded and full of detail.

As I was banging on to her about building a dio, so this also appeared - View attachment 37810 haven't built a vehicle since I was 12.
