What a sh*t Week

Oh and if it makes it any easier my sh*t week was being told I had cancer on the Monday then on the Thursday was told I had angina

I was going for so many scans and tests I lost track of what I was going for.... I'd just turn up on the day and let them get on with it

After the diagnosis and without doubt the worst bit of everything was the biopsy, I still had to go for 4 or 5 different kinds of scans, x ray, heart monitor scan thingy, and I must have given an armful of blood samples lol..... And that was in a four week period

My cardiologist and oncologist were talking to each other to decide who treated me first and to make sure treatments didn't clash!

Just to echo the posts praising the quality of treatment. I was treated at Telford and Shrewsbury hospitals and that was first class. I had three weeks of daily radiotherapy at The Christie in Manchester and they were nothing short of amazing. I still go back to The Christie for 3 monthly checks. Although radiotherapy affects different people in different ways mine was completely without any problems whatsoever.

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis, John. Hopefully, it will be dealt with quickly with no long-lasting effects.

Dave

Sorry to hear this news John, though as others have said prostate cancer is eminently treatable. Wishing you all the best mate.

Sorry to hear that John. Like the other guys have said, do what the docs tell you and all should be well - even if it takes some time.

Sorry to hear your news John. As the guys have said, it is the easiest one to cure. All the best for your treatment and the future.
John.

Sorry to hear that horrible news John. My best wishes to you. Nice to see all the support on here, but then we are 'supporters' after all :)
