Sad news, the Kamov that flies over my house was destroyed in a fire on the ground while doing maintenance yesterday. I would have seen the plume of smoke but I was at the vet. Didn't realise until I saw the aviation news on Youtube.
On another note, Luftwaffe Typhoons did a pass over when they took off. Possibly another stop over enroute somewhere. Thought it was too early for practice flights for the national day coming soon.
