Hi

Like all different sorts of music from easy listening ,60s music ,glam,80s,indie,some metal, the jam,the pogues there's a American band called the dropkick murphys who are brilliant but no matter how hard I've tried listening to all different types of music for me nothing but nothing comes close to punk rock

Ralph, you're doing well with this thread! I tried the same thing last year and got totally zip! Zero, nowt, nothin', a nought without a rim, nada, zilch!

Just to add my list:

Runrig

Capercaillie

Melanie (Safka)

Mike Oldfield

Jethro Tull

Lots and lots of one-offs including:

Mariusz Goli (Improvisations)

Ewan Dobson (Paganini's Hip, Time, Time2)

It's easier to say what I don't listen to and I'm sorry if anyone is offended :) I can't stand most heavy rock ( Iron Man tunes get a free pass ) hate HIP hop, rapping, house, garage all that sort of stuff. Not keen on jazz, R n B, classical or punk.

So what do I like? again I make no excuses for what I listen to, in no particular order.....

George Straight, Garth Brookes, ZZ Top, Bruce Sprigsteen, Phil Collins, Shakin Stevens, Showaddywaddy, Elvis, Joss Stone, Billy Joel, LOnestar, Kylie, Chris Rea, Meat Loaf, Vixen, Anastacia, Daniel Powter, James Blunt, Darius, Wet Wet Wet, Holly Johnson, Matchbox, Drifters, Londonbeat, Prince, Marron 5,,, as I say a real mix, :)

I like many types of music, but when modelling I usually listen to Pink Floyd, Genesis and the Killers
All good.

This afternoon while modelling I was listening to Ultravox ( complete albums ) on Spotify.
Can't believe they still sound that good!!!

Cheers

Robert
Great choice.

And I listen to practically everything. Even a bit of classical from time to time. About the only thing I can't stand is boy band/girl band pap. And rap, the music with a silent C.
I'm with you Del.

My mum was a pianist and organ player. She even played at a service in the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool.

Some great music mixed in with your choice's.

And I'm glad you make no excuse for what you listen too.I still love Abba..

I'm easy really, as long as it's loud and proud....Jazz musicians should have been smothered at birth!

My favourite is George Thorogood.

Slayer, Anthrax Metallica u get the gist
Excellent choice, seen all 3 live Anthrax and Metallica a few times.

I also saw Kreator with Celtic Frost a lifetime ago:).

O.K., as we are in 'Who I've seen.' mode. Try these:-

Debbie Harris with Blondie at Connah's Quay ice rink in the early days - and all she had on was what looked like an black bin liner!

Saw Eric Clapton with Chas and Dave there too. The duo did an extra 30mins. whilst the backstage people tried to sober Clapton up. He came on eventually.....Superb!

I've seen The Rolling Stones, when Brian Jones was alive, at the Regal Cinema in Chester. They were on with Inez and Charlie Fox, and Sounds Incorporated...The admission price? 10 bob = 50p!

The Beatles, The Searchers, Kinks, Beegees, The Hollies...Seen these and more all through a haze of Watneys Red Barrel beer, when they played at The Warren, which was a club in the cellars of the Chester Theatre in City Road.

Great times and great memories.....

The only radio station I listen to these day's is Planet Rock.

Echobelly and Kenickie 2 more I've seen live.

Though I must admit kenickie did go downhill fast

I remember someone in the crowd shouting "you're just like the F%&*^$g Spice Girls now"

I went to see Kenickie at The Varsity in Wolves and there was a power cut and we all got turfed out so Lauren serenaded us all from a first floor window....it was a bit $h1t.
