discussion What plane am I thinking of?!

I want to build a plane for the SIG but so far only liking the spitfires! I remember seeing a plane from the same era I think. Same as in its a low wing plane but where the wings come from the fuselage they drop down shortly before going back up.

Anyone know what planning trying to remember the name of?!

Wouldn't Be Steve's (stona) Corsair by any chance? That is 1/32 scale..

The stuka fits the bill and is the 'right' scale...The only gull wing I can think of in 1/24

Didn't particularly mean a model kit more thinking of a plane that I would like to see if there's a model of! Will have a look at the planes mentioned tho!

Just looked at both and am liking the stuka and corsair! Now tempted to do the corsair in a Red Bull Air Race livery if o can manage it!
