After reading the thread http://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/scale-of-aircraft.19879/ regarding which scale most people prefer from another site I decided to put a poll up for everyone to have a say.

I know there are many scales that have been missed off the list but this is just a general poll.

1/35 for armour , you can get some great little dips out of that scale without compromising on detail.

1/350 in battleships though :)

Dont have a favourite really , i just do anything if it takes my fancy ! For me its more about the subject , whatever scale it comes in , tony

I tried to merge a poll into the original thread but it turns out that you cant, So you beat me to it Al.

for me I would say 1/48 for aircraft and 1/35 for armour.

1/72 for aircraft.....although i have dabbled in 1/144 and 1/48

1/35 and braille scale for armour...........1/48 is just 'odd'

1/24 for cars.........1/43 is even weirder

I have no hard and fixed preference either .. I tend to choose the model for the detail, price and my proposed end result

Most of my stash is 1/72-76. For aircraft and armour/trucks that's what dominates but as I refine my skills I'll move on to the 1/48 aircraft kits. Having said that, I have a 1/35 Challenger and 1/24 landrover in the pile and I've done a 1/48 landrover this year.

I've bought most of my kits based on cost, getting the best I could for the cheapest price. I do 1/72 aircraft, on the whole, but looking at the stash I can see a quite a lot of 1/48 mixed in, and I've made a few 1/76, 1/48 and 1/35 armour and I prefer 1/35.

Tony.

I prefer 1:35 scale myself, as I build armour kits etc, but I do like other scale model kits such as 1:32 and 1:24.

My wife says that size isn't everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has to be 1/48 for aircraft and 1/35 for armour when I do any. Although I do have one 1/72 and one 1/32 in my stash

I usually build 1/35 scale....but after my attempt to the 1/6 scale, it's a pity there wasn't more at this size

1/72 is my scale of choice. I haven't had a lot of space in which to display my models so that works out well for me.

1/35 is my primary scale nothing smaller than 1/48 as i cant see to work with it, i will go bigger but lacking room.
