I'm lookng for some 1/72 Russian/Soviet Army figures of the Cold War era, or even Egyptian/Syrian figures of the Yom Kippor period - I thought it'd be easy to find some. but drawn a blank so far! Maybe I'm missing something??

They don't look too bad according to Plastic Soldier Review. There is some nasty flash which might be tricky to remove if the plastic is like that polythene stuff Airfix used to use.

Must admit they look a bit strange anatomically, but might suit you. Otherwise look for some 20mm ranges and find one that is physically a bit larger than normal….

I was wanting a couple of figures to add bit of interest/scale to a pair of 60's Russian vehicles - or Egyptian/Syrian/Middle East figures as the vehicles were used there as well. Most of the ones I've seen have the fancy new helmets, or the Special Forces Campagn hats. I might just get some WWII figures & perform surgery...............
