Part of my on going research as to what to stock, which acrylic paints would you use the most of?

Think you might of made a boo-boo; Vallejo make model color. Also Model air. Model air is the one thats ready to use. Model color is the one you have to thin your self and can use with hairy brushes.

Hope I haven't cocked things up for you.

I know that but didn't notice I had made the mistake, I've been looking at an excel spreadsheet full of stock items trying to decide what to buy, I can't help but look at it and think, oh I would like that one, oh and that one,hmm that one too, you know how it goes :)

Hi, I like to use lifecolor, they thin with water and are good with brush and airbrush. Have found that they are not readily stocked by shops and I have to get them on the net.

I like the lifecolor too, they dry really nice, you can get them from Airbrushes, Airbrush supplies and compressors, UK

John is there a way to keep your poll at the top of the list/page , you might get more response that way , with the gb going on posts soon fall off the page very quickly at the moment,

Just an idea , I`m sure no one would mind be it for a week - month or whatever

I voted Tamiya, Humbrol and Vallejo Model Air. But i also use Hannants Xtracrylicx

Tamiya surprises me a bit. I thought it was baned in europe due to labeling issues?

Ha! OK I thought that it was all their acrylics.

It's only the Tamiya sprays that are banned.

I too use Lifecolor as well as Tamiya and some Humbrol.

No Tamiya TS range of sprays and no date for re-supply.

The larger bottles of thinners aren't available because people were drinking it (!) - small X-20A should be available.

I use washing-up liquid and water (1:10 ish) to thin the Tamiya X and XF series (also Vallejo paints) for spraying - nothing flaked off so far.

Edit:-

I haven't tried Humbrol Acrylics - do the numbers match the Enamel colours and are they any good?

I am a tamiya acrylic paint fan always have been however just discovered Acrlyicx as it has authentic RLM colours for aircraft. The only place i know that sells it are Hannants.

I've just looked at those, it might be better for me stocking something like that, rather than stock the same as everyone else, and unlike Tamiya and Vallejo I don't have to buy then 6 at a time meaning I could stock more colours at first.
