That is very sad news. I've used them a number of times in the past as they supply some superb products.

It would be interesting to know why.

Sad news. I will miss the paints and I think Steve will too.

They probably have their reasons but that must be up to them as to why.

I think it odd that they came with the announcement after the massive webshop update.

It is bad news. For me personally it's the paints I'll miss. Their Colourcoat range has been my preferred choice over the last few years. Some might question the accuracy of some of their colours, but not the way they spray, absolutely beautifully.

There are alternatives, I've found Modelmaster paints to spray nicely and there's always Xtracolor which are okay. I've never moved entirely away from good old Humbrol which has improved a lot recently, but once you've established a sort of rapport with a brand all the others seem a little bit second best :(

I obviously don't know what's happened but it's never good to lose another supplier. I gather WEM were quite upbeat at Telford, which makes this all the more surprising.

Cheers

That is extremely sad news, their PE and resin detail sets are top class. I've got a few 1/700ships with their etch detail in the stash. I'm going to have to go through a few kits to try and workout if I need anything.

That is very sad indeed. I used WEM to buy some PE for a future ship build, and the service was brilliant, even across the other side of the globe.

Used them for numerous etch sets and resin ship kits really going to leave big hole for ship modellers, very sad.
