Has anyone seen the Russian film " White Tiger "?


If so, any thoughts or recommendations as I've not seen it, but the trailer looked interesting.

Ooooooo sounds interesting love a good film I'll be watching for the answer myself now
 
This is on my 'to watch list' sounds interesting, about a 'ghost' Panzer. Not sure if it is a Tiger that appears and wreaks havoc, then disappears as I haven't seen it yet, looks to be from the trailer. Does look a good film though.

It's a Tiger I all right - in the trailer you don't see much - it's kinda like Alien meets Fury, but hopefully better!

When I first heard about "Cowboys and Aliens" I thought "You have to be kidding!", I even watched the first ten minutes of it then switched it off in disgust after the aliens blew up the gang by the river. However one evening there really was nothing else available in my cabin so I watched it all and, very surprisingly, quite enjoiyed it. It was held together by Daniel Craig but still not as bad as I was expecting.


This might be another similar movie!

You can get it on DVD from Amazon now not seen the film but it looks interesting, and one I could watch

I've found this on YouTube - I don't know how to post the link, but do a Google search for white tiger film online





I've only watched the opening scenes so far, but there's a knocked out Tilly! :)

I did watch cowboys and alien and did not mind it,as well i do enjoy B or Z grade horror and sci-fy :rolleyes: :D

Funnily enough I was the same about C v A, kept thinking it was a silly idea and then watched it at my mates, not the best but certainly not the worst and enjoyable.

I watched it last night on youtube and it was ok.


It was the Russian version with english subtitles.


Nice T34 in a raid, Tiger didn't looked that nice but who cares i liked the movie as is, no more no less.


So if you got a spare 1.45 hours watch it.


And for the diorama builders it has plenty of ideas.

I've watched it now & I'd say it's worth a go. I wouldn't pay for the DVD, but free on YouTube is... well, free!


The Tiger looks like a Porsche hybrid with the turret mounted right towards the from of the hull.


The running gear is hidden under skirts so I'm guessing it's not an actual Tiger I .


But as the film says it's a German " wonder weapon " & unique, so technical disbelief can be suspended for a couple of hours! ;)
