Excellent i can't say much more than superb build, but it gives us lesser mortals something to aspire to and to up our game

Beautiful job. Perfect weathering but, more importantly, a superb composition that tells a story and keeps you studying the diorama for more and more. Brilliant job.

Excellent. A quality job.
Thanks Steve I know it's a pretty mixed up lot but it was a fun project, can't resist bashing kits about- when something clicks

I just run with it!

Hi Jim

Another excellent diorama! I think it was Patrick who said your work reminded him of the Francois Verlinden's work and I tend to agree. Lovely work, great detail and something just that little bit more unusual.

Great stuff

Great work Jim, great story and superb execution of scratch modelling.

It always great to watch your work.

Thanks Rich, but I don't deserve to be compared to "The Great One" not one little bit, but I sincerely appreciate the compliment. :) I bought one of his books way back in early 80s and studied it until it literally disintegrated in my hands. He was a true pioneer in modeling and a fantastic artist....Thanks Again.........Jim:)

I think it's your dry brushing style that is reminiscent. It's kind of disappeared in recent years but can still be effective if applied with care.

It's Paul BTW

Sorry Paul, from what I hear folks don't want to spend the time to learn the ropes but I know no other way, I have a new AB, had it for years, never even opened the boxo_O

I don't know how I missed this! That's a cracking bit of kit bashing. Never mind what the lad says; no doubt he'll know better when he grows up! :D

"It's a half-track Jim. But not as we know it"
The Russians came up with a few very interesting prototypes, but they never took off with the war ending and all. There is one particular model based on the old pre ww2 Zis truck.

Mostly used to haul artillery and such. I'm hoping to get one for my birthday from my wonderful son:rolleyes:
