    The WW2 aircraft advent calendar.

Have you seen it? Much pushed on Facebook over recent weeks. I did try to get a screen shot of the advert just now, but somehow it’s has disappeared. If anyone else has one then please post it here.

This advert was showing an advent Calendar with neat little WW2 aircraft behind each date that you can hang. (OK one was an F14!, which should be a warning that alls not well). Not overly accurate but they do look a bit of fun.

A friend bought me one and I could not resist a look behind the first ‘door’. Instead of a little 3D aircraft it was a slab of printed plastic.

Here is a look at what you get, because having looked at the first I could not resist opening them all.

Then first batch. Well take a look at what they call WW2 aircraft. Look at the mashup names, let alone the images.

this second batch at least have names of real aircraft but, as you can see, they have absolutely no relation to the actual aircraft.

below these are the better ones. OK the P47 is poor but not as horrendously as others. The other two are OK

So beware. Perhaps you are thinking of getting this or have bought this advent calendar or maybe someone has bought it for you. This can only be described as a scam.
