Eehaw!!, a Donkey, a Bedouin and a Snake vignette

Morning I just snapped these with natural lighting...
So it's finally done. I captured as many angles as possible. Gonna be picture heavy...enjoy.

Wabble this is utterly stupendous my friend!
A genius idea and carried out with great aplomb. It's only apparent to me now that the donkey has seen the danger but the man hasn't . Superb story telling in what appears to be very simple model, but we all know how hard you've worked.
      Brilliant!

That is modelling at it's very best. Unique idea, perfectly modelled and painted. A winner for sure.

Thanks Neil, the idea took a few turns before settling for the final result. It began as a Bedouin walking his donkey...then it became a stubborn donkey and finally an alarmed donkey. The base was more of a challenge...drone images from videos have helped a lot. I'm still toying with the idea of the trail marked by the viper.

          Cheers,
          Wabble

I hope so Jim, the bench mark is set higher this year. Many of our members have stepped up their quality. I hope they too win some gongs again this year.

                    Wow, just wow..... 8-)
That is one fantastic model, telling so much of a story, but from such a simple idea.
Great to see how it all came together too.

Apologies for not replying earlier as I'm frantically working on another diorama and the deadline is fast approaching. Thanks Richard, Jack L, John B and Peter for the kind comments. I would have used the heads you sent me John but this was worked on many years back besides his face is all covered up...will use them for new vignettes in the future. I have one in mind already. Glad to have shared the build blog and to have the company along the way. On on to MALCOM.

                      Cheers,

Superb diorama Richard, the interaction between the figures works really well, Donkey taking fright at Hissing Sid, the Bedouin trying to get his donkey to move, oblivious to the snake. Brilliant.
