The flight is about 2:45 from Gatwick. It's a nice little city but in December I imagine it will be quite chilly, it dropped below freezing at night while I was there. Check out the aviation museum next to the airport terminal if you have time.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.

Nope......I'm grounded, having to commute in and out of London using Southern "SUCK" railways. They are for ever striking and just plain inefficient!

I'll get my butt fired if I didn't want to do my job because I don't like the way they have changed it or what ever excuse they are using. The rail franchise business is a joke and the unions are laughing their heads off as well.

There, that is my rant for the day! 9_9

The company I work for builds the nacelles for those, I share an office with them when I'm not on the road.

Sadly not to somewhere warmer, in fact probably colder than blighty.

I've driven on the right a few times, all seems ok until I get to a junction. Once, returning to the UK, back onto the left side, I went around a roundabout the wrong way, luckily I was still at the airport and no one else was there at that time of the morning.

The worst I find is having spent around 30 years driving in the UK, it feels very odd returning and driving on familiar roads with our Belgian car.
